在軍中遭到虐死的洪仲丘，告別式將於明(4)日上午舉行，陸軍六軍團在今日上午先行前往洪家，致送內容寫有「因公殞命」，由總統馬英九所頒發的《旌忠狀》。鮮少發言的洪家爸爸無奈表示，這是形式的，「沒有意義，勉強接受」。
總統馬英九確定將於明天上午8點50分左右前往洪仲丘的告別式現場致意。國安人員已在昨日上午先行前往洪家，與洪父商討當天喪葬事宜。對於強調管定這件事情的馬總統要前來，洪爸爸今天上午說，「洪家也是有人性的，只要是真心誠意的，都會接受」。
據了解，屆時總統可能在新任國防部長楊念祖陪同下，赴洪家致意，另外前部長高華柱也會到場。
不過，陸軍六軍團指揮官今日上午先行將馬總統頒發的旌忠狀，送到洪家，上面也寫著「因公殞命」四個字，洪父則表示，這是形式的，沒有意義、勉強接受。
除了頒發旌忠狀給洪家外，國防部也同時追晉下士洪仲丘為中士官階。
目前洪家已決定將洪仲丘遺體火化後，安葬於南投縣名間鄉的萬丹山生命園區。儘管先前軍方有意用軍禮舉行，但洪家不願讓軍方大費周章，因此婉拒軍方的協助。
