小秀華練習基本功。

7歲，本應是在父母懷裡撒嬌的年齡，小秀華卻在福建省雜技團訓練場裡度過一年的時間。壓腿、倒立、彎腰等基本功已練得扎扎實實。小秀華來自大陸湖南，目前是團裡最小的學員，父母將她送來後已經返回家鄉，在這裡的一切除了老師就靠她自己。但在記者看來，她已表現出和自己年齡不符的成熟和堅強。在訓練過程中，有的動作不是常人所能想像的痛苦，小秀華在無法忍受的時候從不會叫出聲，只會自己默默的流出眼淚，在外人看來感覺很心酸，但她自己卻覺得這是應該的，所謂台上一分鐘台下十年功，小小的秀華已經領悟到了。
據中山網報導，福建省雜技團成立於一九五六年。半個世紀以來，創作演出了《單拐倒立》、《小蹬人》、《頭頂桿》、《對手滾杯》、《柔術轉毯》、《行為藝術──度》、《舞者──繩技》等一批雜技精品節目，獲得了十枚國際金牌和60多枚大陸國內獎牌。
