由桃園縣新明國中組成的中華青少棒代表隊，能夠取得亞太區代表權，除了有三本柱方榮澤、黃子軒、陳俊孝，打線也是新明代表隊勝利的保證。
開路先鋒王偉安在菲律賓打資格賽時，場場都有安打演出，面對印尼也開轟，是陣中最穩定的打者，「教練相信我，所以會更想要打好，第一個上場也不緊張。」
至於，擔任第2棒的葉秀華，同樣以穩定打擊獲得教練信任，擁有左打優勢，不過，他把自己定位在戰術型打者，「常在輪到我時執行戰術，我都會執行得不錯，所以我把自己定位成戰術型打者。」(接下一頁)
