不僅是藝大校園，在台北各個城市角落，都可看到不同材質之雕塑，顯示公共空間的雕塑，已成為重要的城市風景。
因越來越少年輕人投入雕塑這項需要高度耐心、毅力與成本的藝術領域，今(2013)年由麗寶文化藝術基金會，與英國文化協會合辦的「第二屆麗寶國際雕塑雙年獎」藝術競賽，給了藝術創作者一個絕佳的展現平台，他們可以藉由競賽，將思想與才華以雕塑型式展現出來，並提供豐厚獎金的鼓勵。
該比賽總獎金超過150萬元，首獎為70萬元，希望能吸引這些長期從事藝術創作，至今仍默默耕耘的藝術家，將自己的作品拿出來與世界對話與交流。(接下一頁)
