學者：藍光光碟畫質比DVD好

北科大光電工程系副教授林世穆解釋，藍光光碟的原理是半導體雷射，只是參雜的元素不同，形成藍光，例如一般DVD 的容量是4.7GB，是屬於紅光，波長比藍光還要長，光點間距較大，能裝的資料比較少，反觀藍光的波長短，雖然藍光光碟片實體的大小與DVD相同，但能裝進22GB或28GB兩種規格，都遠大於DVD，當然裝的資料越多，影片的解析度就可以提高，這也是藍光影片畫質比DVD好的緣故。
