河內市長籲當局：說服民眾勿抗爭

美聯社今報導，河內市人民委員會主席（相當於市長）阮世草已向越南共產黨表示，持續不斷的抗議可能「對政治穩定和社會秩序造成不良的影響」。阮世草說，他已經要求政府單位「說服民眾不要參與抗爭。」

美聯社指出，尚不知民眾是否會把阮世草的話放在心上，也不知道安全部隊是否會鎮壓抗爭，然而若越南當局驅離抗爭集會，可能會強化民眾對於政府向中國低頭的指控。
