老舊 Zoo Mall要拆了

台北市立動物園的「園外服務中心」（Zoo Mall）要拆了，台北動物園表示，明天起將進行「園外服務中心建物拆除及環境綠美化等整修工程」，預計140個工作天，拆除後將整修為綠美化公園，設置捷運廣場、藝術角、裝置藝術平台、大型展演廣場、遮雨廊道及貓纜廣場等，也串聯捷運便利商店、廁所及水舞園區。

Zoo Mall設置於1987年，當時動物園規畫集中遊客餐飲服務，但建築物已經超過25年，近年多所荒廢；台北動物園2011年7月曾委託專業技師評估，認定其中2棟耐震力不足，3棟漏水嚴重、防火被覆脫落、金屬牆面鏽蝕穿孔。園方因此決定拆除地上建物，保留地下1、2層停車場供市民使用，但施工期間先暫停開放。（蔡永彬／台北報導）
