民進黨發言人徐佳青農曆年前應邀赴美，她在達拉斯台美同鄉會演講時爆料，前總統陳水扁涉及的「海角七億」等案件，很多年後，有一個大老闆告訴她，有次扁找他們，整個房間幾十個人都是營造業大老闆，每個人出三千萬、五千萬，「一攤下來幾十億」。

徐佳青說，扁對台灣有他的貢獻，但不代表扁家所犯的錯誤可被忽略。

徐佳青也嗆陳水扁兒子陳致中選立委說，「你對台灣的貢獻是什麼？那你憑什麼」？她更翻出陳致中2012年堅持參選高雄市第9選區立委選舉，瓜分綠營票源，導致民進黨提名候選人郭玟成落選，痛批陳致中憑什麼再入黨還要選立委。
