小小彬六年前出道，名氣直線飆升，成功竄紅後卻惹來不少批評，過多關注讓經紀人嚴家正決定棄守台灣，改賺海外財，目前小小彬除赴大陸參加節目錄影，還到新加坡拍攝微電影。爸爸小彬彬表示已封鎖家裡網路，無奈的說：「擔心他看到負面新聞。」
小小彬將升小三，唸小學後爸爸小彬彬和經紀人嚴家正決定除寒暑假一律不接戲，沉寂約一年半時間，父子同台演出【黑道上錯身】飾演詐騙斂財神棍父子，再度引起外界批評。由於現在小小彬已認識字，《中國時報》報導小彬彬擔心兒子上網會看到負面評價，他說：「那些罵他、討厭他的文字，他怎麼受得了？為何都沒有正面、鼓勵的聲音呢？」

經紀人嚴家正則抱怨說台灣有太多單位過於關注小小彬，無論他是講話或是演戲，全都會被放大，「為了不被攻擊，我乾脆不讓他上綜藝節目，也不接戲了。」他提到這個社會只從負面角度去看待事情，無奈的說：「扼殺了一個天才童星！」
正因如此，小小彬改賺海外財，日前先到新加坡拍微電影，8月每個周末都受邀至大陸參加節目錄影，嚴家正表示目前針對台灣邀請演出全部婉拒，儼然已經放棄台灣市場。
