舊金山捷運意外　兩維修工被撞死

【李寧怡／綜合外電報導】美國舊金山灣區捷運系統（Bay Area Rapid Transit，BART）兩名維修工人，周六在檢查軌道時不幸遭一輛列車撞死。灣區捷運系統工會前天開始發動罷工，並未對乘客提供服務，不過兩名死者似乎不是工會成員，周六仍照常上班。
 
《舊金山紀事報》報導，這兩名員工一人是正職人員，一人是約聘員工，當時因軌道疑有傾斜狀況，前往檢查。BART發言人表示，肇事列車有資深司機駕駛，但當時處於自動行駛狀態。發言人指出，通常進行軌道檢查工作時，會由一人檢修，一人監看是否有列車駛近。兩名死者都是經驗豐富的維修人員，事故原因尚待調查。
