糖尿病常用藥　研究證實與膀胱癌無關

糖尿病治療藥物種類多，以往用於第二型糖尿病的常用藥物愛妥糖，即胰島素增敏劑，被認為可能會罹患膀胱癌，部分國家甚至被要求下市，台灣則在藥物仿單上註明致癌性，但根據近期由賓州大學與北加州凱撒醫學中心研究部針對胰島素增敏劑進行10年流行病學試驗，分析結果並未發現該藥會增加膀胱癌風險。
 
台灣糖尿病學會前理事長莊立民教授表示，治療糖尿病會針對患者狀況選擇不同藥物，目前多數糖尿病治療藥物主要以刺激胰臟分泌胰島素為主，胰島素增敏劑不僅可改善其阻抗性，提升體內葡萄糖利用率，達到穩定血糖、預防併發心血管疾病的效果。（王璐華／台北報導）
