MLB／沒世界大賽可打　「老爹」當球評過乾癮

球季提前結束的紅襪「老爹」歐提茲(David Ortiz)，別人在打季後賽他也沒閒著；美國電視體育頻道決定找這位擁有3只世界大賽冠軍戒指的重砲，擔任世界大賽第1、2戰球評。

在2004、2007和去年球季拿下世界大賽冠軍戒指的「老爹」，2014世界大賽也不缺席，不過並不是以球員，而是以球評的身分亮相。

歐提茲大聯盟生涯參與過14次世界大賽，世界大賽平均打擊率高達5成44，受體育電視台邀請，將在今年世界大賽第1、2戰與名人堂球員前大聯盟重砲手湯瑪斯(Frank Thomas)、史威許(Nick Swisher)一同擔任球評解說球賽。

2013年世界大賽冠軍紅襪隊，本季以不到5成的勝率、71勝91負提前結束這個球季，球隊也早早就進入補強階段，不但將王牌左投列斯特(Jon Lester)、強打高梅茲(Jonny Gomes)交易到運動家，連2號先發雷奇(John Lackey)也送到紅雀，皮維(Jake Peavy)至巨人，換來「古巴巨砲」塞佩達斯(Yoenis Cespedes )、克雷格(Allen Craig)，及右投凱利(Joe Kelly)等人，新球季究竟會有何種新風貌，不少球迷也等著看。
