UL併Futuremark 開拓亞洲市場

UL今天宣布，完成併購全球最受歡迎的基準測試軟體品牌 Futuremark。此外，Futuremark將與 UL全球業務及資源接軌，進一步將其產品與服務拓展至亞洲市場，並開發新市場商機。

Futuremark該公司是位於芬蘭的私人持股公司，致力於開發全球使用率最高的桌上型電腦、筆電、平板電腦與智慧手機的基準評測軟體。此併購案代表 UL 將加入軟體開發產業，為 UL因應全球激增之效能資料需求的重要策略。

Futuremark 從 1997年起就加入制訂產業基準的行列，迄今平均每 4秒就有一個基準測試結果上傳至 Futuremark的數據庫。
