Fischer：Fed今年升息已「廣為預期」

聯準會(Fed)副主席Stanley Fischer周一說，市場已「廣為預期」Fed今年將開始調高美國利率，而後決策官員將在每次會議中，決議緊縮或放寬貨幣政策。

Fischer指出，經濟已有明顯進展，且勞工市場接近充份就業。但他在對紐約經濟俱樂部發表的演說中，特別提及，強勁的美元可能抵銷了貨幣寬鬆政策的部份功效。

「市場廣泛預期，今年年底前，利率將會調高，」Fische--Fed主席葉倫的親密戰友--在準備好的講稿中說。

升息「可能將確定在年底前為之，當升息的預期利益蓋過此一行動的預期成本，就應當採取行動，」他補充說。

Fed於上周的政策會議中，為升息做好了準備。但因Fed發布了經濟成長與通貨膨脹的謹慎預測，讓投資人猜不透升息的時機。

Fischer說，當勞工市場進一步改善，且當我們有信心，中期內，通貨膨脹將重返我們2%的目標，升息就將到來。
