美元在4月的第一個交易日下跌，主要是美國經濟數據出乎意料地疲弱，聯準會（Fed）不急於升息的預期轉濃，美元也因此失去魅力。

追蹤美元兌六大貨幣表現的美元指數，終場跌0.2%。美元兌歐元收盤貶值0.3%至1.0763美元，若不是希臘和債權人的談判遲遲無下文，且歐元區債券之利率創新低，歐元表現會更強勁。

歐元兌瑞士法郎跌到七周新低。

日圓兌美元則出現三天來首次升值，上漲0.3%至119.76日圓；日圓兌歐元大致持平於128.89日圓。

昨天公布的數據顯示，美國民間企業3月新聘員工數不如預期，3月製造業活動的擴張速度，也創2013年5月來最慢。
