宏達電除了強力行銷新HTC One、蝴蝶機系列的高階智慧手機外，近期更是積極主打Desire系列，從最早的Desire 200、Desire 600到最新亮相的HTC Desire 500，充分顯現中階市場的強烈企圖，也希望透過新款手機進一步帶動業績的成長；宏達電股價近期不斷探底，面臨上市價格保衛戰，23日除息交易，股價強勢反彈，一開盤就完成填息，盤中一度亮燈漲停，終場收175.5元，上漲9元，漲幅5.41%。
宏達電新HTC One在第2季交出好成績，拿下台灣市場銷售冠軍，加上蝴蝶機的助陣，第2季擠下三星重新拿下台灣的銷售王，不過，以新HTC One的銷售情況來看，6月已較5月趨緩，為了提升第3季的營運，近期陸續發表HTC One mini，及主打年時尚的HTC Desire 500。
台灣大先前已與宏達電合作推出低價的Desire 200，23日則是發表HTC Desire 500，取得電信與經銷全通路獨家代理權，單機建議售價11900元，搭配台灣大資費方案，月付549元，就能以2900元擁有，目標鎖定年輕消費族群。

宏達電23日除息，一開盤就完成填息，盤中一度攻上漲停178元，終場收175.5元，呈現強勢反彈，法人認為，宏達電預定7月30日召開法人說明會，市場關注未來的營運策略，後續的表現，可能得看宏達電會釋出什麼樣的訊息，及能否消除法人的疑慮。
