民進黨短片挺港 「民主不會從天而降」

聲援香港人民爭取民主的行動，民進黨今天公布一支30秒的「香港加油」短片。黨發言人黃帝穎表示，這次香港的和平占中運動，讓台灣人民感受到香港社會特別是香港年輕人的活力，尤其，台灣也經歷過人民前仆後繼、不畏犧牲爭取民主化的歷史過程，多數國人都感同身受，由衷地支持香港民眾爭取真普選，要求落實民主的行動，希望香港政府及北京當局，能積極、正面回應香港學生的訴求。

「香港加油」短片旁白如下：

「當我們看見香港朋友，撐起脆弱的雨傘抗爭時，台灣人是一起心痛的，因為台灣深深地知道，實現人民作主的過程，需要經歷多少的痛苦，需要多麼堅定的意志。民主，不會從天上掉下來，讓我們一起不畏懼風雨，擁抱自由。香港加油！台灣加油！」
