廢核大遊行14日午後分別在台北、台南、台南、台東等地登場，訴求「核一核二核三應儘速除役，不得延役」；「直接廢止核四計劃，不再浪費人民稅金封存」；「全面檢討核廢處置政策，不可貪圖近利而禍延未來」。

主辦單位表示，今年的反核遊行口號是「告別核電、能源新願」，不僅要抵抗核電復辟，更要開啟能源革命的進程，全民上街遊行督促政府，即刻開啟合乎民主、公平、正義的能源改革進程，非核家園的理想才有望早日落實。

除了反核團體集結，民進黨、台聯、綠黨、樹黨等政黨也將動員參與，民進黨也同步進行「省下一座核電廠」廢核運動，邀請民眾上網提供非核家園政策意見。

此外，行政院將於近期祭出縣市節電行動計畫，依照工業、機關與民生等三種不同的用電特性規劃；對於積極參與並表現優良的縣市，給予實質獎勵。
